Start fast remote networking for medical images at minimal cost. Interconnect DICOM-compliant systems from different locations using a secure line. The fast teleradiology is transparent for your DICOM systems - now you can also use old systems for teleradiology.

Fast

With the integrated JPEG 2000 compression technolgy, accepted for medical applications, you can send images 10 to 20 times faster. Studied can be sent directly from the acquisition workstation console. The radiologist need not learn any new software. This saves precious time and avoids user errors. The images arrive directly at the recipients review workstation.

Reliable

Loss of data is prevented by caching of images The DICOM-Shuttle can also send images to multiple locations and a DICOM-archive (autorouting). Direct ISDN lines provide for best sercurity against unauthorized access. Sending patient data to an unallowed destination ("wrong email address") is prevented.

Plug & Play

No changes to exisiting DICOM systems means no software conflicts. You are free to chose any DICOM viewer or workstation. Compared to proprietary WebServer/WebViewer solutions, our DICOM-compliant compressed image transmission does not restict you to a specific vendor.

You have ISDN? We can set-up your connection with ISDN router (offer may not be valid in all coutries).

You already have A-DSL, S-DSL or an other VPN or broadband for your RIS, Video or speech recognition? Then the DICOM-Shuttle can immediately use these lines.

Flexible

Sender

Receiver and Q/R-station

  • Image decompression of the received images. Forwarding of images to any local viewer or archive.
  • Query remote PACS archives from your local viewer (Query/Retrieve). Images are automatically compressed for sending and decompressed for your viewer, when they arrive at your location.

Image compression

  • Transmission in diagnostic quality
  • About 10 to 40 times faster than normal connection. Uses internationally accepted JPEG 2000 compression which is part of the DICOM standard.

Broadband package

  • You already have a network connection, but you need a fast transmission? Then wen integrate the DICOM Shuttle with your existing IP-network.
